Investment in renewable energies

The planning, application, installation and finally the commissioning of the new photovoltaic system took months. Together with a local electrician, we were able to install a powerful rooftop solar system covering a total of 235 square metres.

Thanks to the effective utilisation of the roof area, our company is now less dependent on fluctuations on the electricity market. The climate-friendly electricity makes up a significant proportion of our own requirements. At the same time, we can reduce the company's electricity costs in the long term. With the new solar solution, we are also preventing current and future political requirements relating to ESG.

Solar power plays an important role in the expansion of renewable energies. In Germany, the share of renewable energies in gross electricity consumption is set to rise to at least 80 per cent by 2030 in order to reduce the country's heavy dependence on fossil fuels. Looking at the regional commercial and industrial areas, many roof areas are still economically unutilised. We see the new PV system as an ideal starting point to position our company sustainably for the future.
