Three new faces as the training programme gets underway

Liam (aged 16) is completing his apprenticeship as a machinist. Technology and physical activity are also central to his leisure time: Liam is passionate about motorbikes. He is currently working towards getting his motorbike licence.

Konstantin (aged 23) has decided to train as a foundry mechanic. For him, physical activity is part of everyday life even outside work – particularly football. With his enthusiasm for sport, he brings a great deal of energy and motivation to the role.

Mike (aged 16) is starting his apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic. He is also keen on sport and plays football in his spare time.

A successful start to working life

The transition from school to the world of work is an exciting new experience for all three of them. They have successfully navigated their first few days at the company – and the integration into the team has gone well too. Their new colleagues have given the apprentices a warm welcome and made their start easier. After the first few days, Konstantin sums it up: “The first few days at the company were brilliant.”

All three are motivated and have a clear goal in mind: they want to successfully complete their apprenticeships. If everything goes to plan, they hope to continue their journey together at Lütgert afterwards – as being taken on permanently after their apprenticeships is an attractive prospect for all three.

We’re delighted to welcome Liam, Konstantin and Mike to Lütgert and to support them on their journey through their apprenticeships: for the next 3.5 years, we wish you every success, enjoyment in your work, exciting experiences and perseverance.
