Reliable drive elements are at the heart of every conveyor system. Precisely fitting and robust components are particularly important in bucket elevators, which are used in numerous industries for the vertical conveying of bulk materials. Whether belt pulleys, grid pulleys or flywheels - we offer customised drive solutions made of grey cast iron that are perfectly tailored to your application.

Our grid pulleys - also known as bar pulleys - and belt pulleys are specially developed for use in bucket elevators. Grid pulleys are typically used as foot pulleys, while belt pulleys are used in the head area.

Customised production

We manufacture these components in diameters from 355 to 1,000 mm and rim widths between 140 and 500 mm. For particularly wide applications, several lattice pulleys or belt pulleys can be combined on one shaft - either crowned or roof crowned - making total belt widths of over 2,000 mm possible. For optimum static friction, we offer an optional friction coating for the belt pulleys.

Optimised design

A particular advantage of our lattice pulleys lies in the bar shape of the running surface: this design reliably prevents bulk or transported goods from penetrating between the belt and the pulley. This prevents crushing or abrasion, which significantly increases the service life of the drive belt and prevents the belt from slipping.

Our grid pulleys are manufactured with a stable, one-sided base. This eliminates the need for additional deflector cones - a well thought-out solution for robust and low-maintenance conveyor systems.
